1. Data controller

2. Data we process

• Identity and contact: name, email address, phone number (optional).
• Inquiry details: inquiry type, date, approximate guest numbers, city or venue, dietary preferences and your message.
• Security: technical records kept by the hosting provider when a form is submitted (IP address, date and time).
• Usage data: only if you allow analytics cookies, pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location.

Allergy and health details are special-category data (KVKK Art. 6). Please do not include them in a first inquiry; if needed for the menu, they are collected separately during planning with your explicit consent.

3. How we collect it

Electronically, through the inquiry form, email, phone and WhatsApp messages and, if you allow them, analytics cookies.

4. Purposes and legal bases

• Assessing your inquiry, contacting you, preparing a menu and proposal: directly related to entering into a contract (Art. 5/2-c).
• Keeping inquiry records and handling possible disputes: legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f) and establishing, exercising or protecting a right (Art. 5/2-e).
• Site security: legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f).
• Measuring and improving the site: your explicit consent (Art. 5/1).
• Invoicing and statutory retention if a service contract is formed: required by law and legal obligation (Art. 5/2-a, ç).

5. Transfers

• In Türkiye: to the team and suppliers we work with on the menu and event, only as far as the service requires (e.g. guest numbers, date, venue); to authorities where legally required.
• Abroad: form records are stored on servers of the hosting provider Netlify, Inc. (USA), only with your consent under the explicit consent text below (KVKK Art. 9/6).
• Analytics data is processed by Google (Google Analytics) only with your cookie consent.
• If you choose to write to us by WhatsApp or email, your message travels through those providers (Meta, Google).

6. Retention

Inquiry records are kept for 2 years after the inquiry is concluded, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. If a service contract is formed, tax and commercial retention periods apply. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

7. Your rights under KVKK Art. 11

• learn whether your personal data is processed,
• request information if it has been processed,
• learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
• know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred,
• request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
• request deletion or destruction under Art. 7,
• request that corrections and deletions are notified to third parties who received the data,
• object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis,
• claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

8. How to apply

Send requests in writing with a wet signature to Tevfikbey Mah. 3. Kanarya Sk. No: 3A İç Kapı No: 1, Küçükçekmece / İstanbul, by registered electronic mail (KEP), with a secure electronic signature, or from the email address you previously gave us to info@pinarishakoglu.com.

Include your name, signature (for written requests), ID or passport number, an address or email for our reply, and your request. We reply free of charge within 30 days.

Given optionally, with a separate checkbox on the inquiry form. If you do not consent, your inquiry is not stored on the site; you can send the same message yourself by WhatsApp or email. Not consenting does not prevent you from using our services.

You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@pinarishakoglu.com; your record is then deleted.
